Grassy Flats Charters was started by Captain Daniel Snapp. Its purpose is to provide local and visiting anglers to the beautiful Panama City area an opportunity to take advantage of our truly incredible fishing habitat and experience a great time on the water along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Grassy Flats Charters gives both experienced and novice anglers a chance to fish aboard a boat that was truly designed to fish shallow waters with a Captain thats primary goal is to provide a custom trip that will create memories that will last a life time.
The inshore backwaters of our areas bay systems, nearby sounds and emerald green waters of the gulf abound with life and offer anglers a chance to catch many different species of fish such as Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder and Tarpon to name a few. Several methods are used to pursue your selected species. From slowly drifting and casting the crystal clear grass flats, to quietly poling along in four to six inches of water sight fishing for reds, or choosing to slowly cruise the beach in search of Tarpon and Pompano, Grassy Flats Charters provides each angler with a trip to remember.
In addition to providing exciting fishing charters, you may also choose a relaxing Sightseeing / Photo Excursion. You will be surely left in awe after viewing the wide variety of wildlife, marine life and natural beauty of the area.
